EDUARD NOVAK - TRIPLE WORLD CHAMPION AT PARA-CYCLING WHIT BICYCLE VIVELO FLY

The romanian rider Eduard Novak became for the third time world champion, after he was placed first at 4 km pursuit race, at Para-cycling Track World Championships on the velodrom, taking place in Los Angeles.

Eduard Novak  managed to overcome, in the final, with 3 seconds, the czech Jiri Jezek, world record holder. Eduard made a perfect race and said that this success gives him confidence that he will succeed to become Olympic champion at Paralympic Games in London. 
 
"I'm very happy for this result and for this  outstanding performance. In qualifying I got a result with1.6 tenths lower, but in the final I managed to impose, what gives me the confidence to London. The time wasn’t the fastest because it is a very tough track and many cyclists have failed tactics, by choosing the wrong gears", declared Eduard Novack.
 
Romanian cyclist has completed the race with time 04:47.9270, being followed by the czech Jiri Jezek by the time of 04: 50.8520 and the british Jody Cundy.
Eduard Novak will start Racing 1 km time trial and 10 km scracth.
