GRAND PRIX SREDNA GORA - 2010

On the 02-03 of October 2010 the "Sredna Gora - 2010" bicycle rally was held in the vicinity of Stara Zagora Mineral baths, located 12 km from Stara Zagora, with the help of organizers of  Veloklub  "Zarata". The start-final in the both days is the same - in the western part in the complex (the lake). The first day the distance is 69.5 km and the second is 32.5 km. .
By the men again first was the undisputed Wouter Cleppe. Already in the first day he managed to finish with twenty minutes before the second, which gave him the necessary lead and confidence. The second day a little slow but the pace was again  5 min before the second and so with a total time in the both days 4:57:47 (3:06:37 - first day, 1:51:10 - second day) he managed to win this years race " Sredna Gora’’ - 2010". Second  remained Nikolay Stamboliyski (5:22:23), and third is Todor Angelov (5:54:49).
Here is what Wouter Cleppe said after the race:
"The first day I won with a lead of 20 minutes, so I had a bit room to breath for the second stage. The second day was a bit tricky, because  the hunters took away all the direction-signs from the track, so I had to wait so much times for the second one to appear. But I attacked him again and again, so I managed to finish first with a small lead of 5 minutes after all. The bike was great, no problems at all. Very aggressive, light and tough bike …
